Sebastian Cox for Hugh Hayden
Fabrication work 2020
From time to time I find myself working at another studio, this time it was more a woodland than studio, yet a pleasure all the same.
Coppicing is a great way to increase biodiversity, not just in the types of trees and plants that will grow, but for the surrounding wildlife as well.
With experience in wood sculpting, picking up the required tools, donning the thermals and heading into the woodlands was more enjoyment than hard work, even though it did involve a fair amount of heavy lifting.
